"One Picture is Worth Ten Thousand Words"

Mommie's been super lazy in updating my blog.. here some photos to share:

Chalet

We went for a short getaway this week. All the dogs are allowed to go! Daddy celebrated his birthday there. We celebrated Weewee and Yuki's belated birthdays as well. Weewee is 14 years old and Yuki is 13.

Mommie ordered a cake for Weewee and Yuki.

All of us were drooling when we saw the cake. I was staring intensely at the cake, trying to use my 'magical stare' while Junior was using her magical eye powers, trying to move the cake to nearer our side.

Skin problem is here again

Mocha's skin problem came back again.... it has reached quite a bad stage that we have no choice but to bring her to the vet yesterday evening. Vet told its is both bacterial and fungal infection. And needs to shave her fur off - to skin, even the flaky wounds. She suggested us to leave her with them overnight, and they will work on her early morning. We were very redundant to leave her overnight, but guess that's the best solution.

The vet called just now to inform us that Mocha is ready to pick up. She told us the wounds are a bit raw, and Mocha cried the entire night (till their caretaker cannot sleep). :( Our poor gal must be so traumatised, she might have thought that we have abandoned her. This is the first time she was left with the vet overnight.

Belated Birthday post

Mommie has forgotten to post my birthday photos (Feb 2011)... so here they are:

New Toy

Mummie opened another new toy toy for me (as a lot of my toys were given to Mojo). A ball ball/rope toy, I love playing/chewing with it!

I got a new bed, a new pink blanket and I'm allow to keep my old yellow blanket as well!

Mocha & The Biscuit King

Fell off the bed

I fell off the bed last saturday night. :(

Initiall I was so happy to be able to sleep with Mommie and Daddy, because I just bathed, so is allowed on their bed. I made myself comfy and cosy and slept. The next thing I know, I got a shock falling off the bed. Very very shocked, so scary!!!

(It was 2am in the morning, all of us were asleep, suddenly we heard 2 loud thumps and realised Mocha fell off. We quickly went to take a look, she was in shock, lying on the floor-down pose, refuse to move. Think she fell and hit the bedframe then the floor. She peed on the floor in that pose. After approximately 5-10mins, she finally got up and walk, but she pooed and vomited after she stood up. We were so worried, because she was still not very responsive. I tried to take out some treats, immediately she turn around and walk towards me, tail wagging softly. Phew... At least she responded.

It seems that she curled herself under the comforter, and slept at the edge of the bed. Usually she will go back to her own bed after awhile, but this time she slept all the way, and unknowingly fell off. Thank god she is alright.)

Happy Birthday Casper!

It was Casper's birthday on 13 March, Auntie W requested for a big big birthday cake for Casper.... Taadaa!

This cake is double the size of the one I have for my birthday cake, ingredients including:

• 1 egg
• Wholemeal flour
• 4 carrots, chopped
• 4 potatos, boiled
• 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
• 600 gm of minced beef & 500 gm of minced pork (Mommie was 'inspired by IKEA's famous Swedish meatballs which uses both beef and pork)

Results:
I hope Casper, Junior, Weewee and Yuki enjoyed the cake.

Mojo and I had a share of the 'Birthday celebration' too, guess who has which cake?

New addition to the family

We have a new addition to our family yesterday.... A Chihuahua.





I was surprised when he came to my home with Auntie Cyn and Wendy, and was angry that he never left. I am quite angry that he 'invaded' into my home. I'm no longer the only dog that everyone loves. Everyone went 'Ooo and ahhh' over him.


Wawa (his temporary name) keep chasing after me, I ran away from him, growled at him. But knowing he is still a puppy, i kept my distance by staying on the sofa, out of his reach.

I cried... I refused to go to Grandma when she called for me.

Mommie: Worried that Mocha will feel sad because of the addition of the new puppy, we decide to go back to check on her as well as the new puppy. Wawa seem to be a submissive dog. But Mocha do not seem to like him, she kind of tried to pounce on him a few times, but she did not bite him. I guess its a natural reaction for all dogs, she is just trying to protect her own territory. She will have to learn to get along with him living under the same roof. And hopefully as time goes by, she will soon realise that she is still our one and only, that we love the most.

Went for grooming today, Auntie W wanted to try punk head on me again since I have so much fur to spare.

Remember that mommie & daddy didn't know my date of birth because the pet farm did not provide them with the info? Tracing back my vaccination card, its seems that my birthday should be 15 of January. Hence mommie decide to bake me a wolfy cake for birthday! Recipe provided by Helio's mommie~

Minced beef with mashed pototo cake.
Top layer icing is cream cheese with mashed bananas.
The word 'Mocha' is made of chopped strawberries.

They took more than 10 photos of me and this is the best they could get, a grouchy me trying to get my paws on the cake. Happy 5 years old to me!

FYI: I did not eat the entire cake (which could last me for more than 1 week). I only got 1/5 of the cake (Letter M area), the rest were giving to Casper, Junior, Weewee and Yuki. Hope they enjoyed the cake as much as I did!

Salmon for last weekend's dinner

Mommie's been a little busy to post recently... she decided to cook me a nice dinner for the brand new year 2010. Salmon! The fish is a bit too much for me for 1 meal, hence it was split into 2 dinner.
